The Local History Room and Dover Historical Society Archives contains many local history resources. These include Dover High School Yearbooks dating back to 1913; Dover, New Philadelphia, Strasburg, Uhrichsville, Dennison, Newcomerstown, and Rural Directories; and Official Rosters of Ohio Soldiers from the Civil War and World War I.
