Dr. Peter Mansoor, Colonel, U.S. Army (Retired), is the General Raymond E. Mason Jr. Chair of Military History at The Ohio State University and a military analyst for CNN. He is the author of Surge: My Journey with General David Petraeus and the Remaking of the Iraq War, a history of the Iraq War focusing on the surge of 2007-2008.
