The Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle meets once a month, Thursdays at noon. Learn how you can become a member of America’s oldest continuous book club! Each month a different book from the Chautauqua Literary & Scientific (CLSC) book list will be discussed. Call the library at 330-343-6123 to reserve your copy of discussion titles.

Need a challenge? Try the 100 Book Club! Open to ages 6 and up, this club challenges you to read 100 books in 1 year! Read what you like, keep track throughout the year, and join us for a special reception for reading 100 books.

Did you know the Dover Public Library can help you get copies of books for your book club? Purchasing books each month for book club can be expensive. Use your public library and get free copies instead! To get your books in time for discussion, please make sure to get your request in at least 30 days before you want them available for your members.
