Tuscarawas County Sports Hall of Fame (TCSHOF) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to honoring those individuals prominent in the history of athletics in Tuscarawas County. The Hall recognizes the timeless intertwining of sports into the fabric of the county’s everyday life and is devoted to recognizing and honoring those athletic and support personnel who have made outstanding contributions to our county’s incredible sports history.
The TCSHOF is committed to:
- Through enshrinement, honoring and recognizing those individuals who have excelled in their sport.
- Honoring organizations prominent in Tuscarawas County for contributions to athletics.
- Honoring athletic support personnel such as officials, administrators, & volunteers.
- Public edification by creating/establishing a permanent TCSHOF display.
- Memorializing athletic venues of historical importance.

2024 Tuscarawas County High School Football Preview Night
The 2nd Annual Tuscarawas County High School Football Preview Night will be held on the evening of Tuesday, August 6 at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, located at 425 Prospect Street in Dover, Ohio. The event will include a meal and a preview of the 2024 football season. Head football coaches from all nine Tuscarawas County schools will be given the opportunity to share insight on their team, their impact players, and the upcoming season. Members of the community and the media will have the opportunity to ask the head coaches questions as well.
“Tuscarawas County has a very rich history,” says Tom Farbizo, president of the Tuscarawas County Sports Hall of Fame. “The Preview Night will be the start of a great new tradition in our county. Moderated by Hank Keathley, the event will be a wonderful way to support your team and to share your excitement about the upcoming football season.”
