Coming Fall 2013

Children ages 5-12 are invited to bring one container of Legos to the library (or use ours!) and spend an hour getting creative!  Come and build something unique and see what others are building.  Please be sure to register the week before each session so we can have room for everyone!  Call 330-343-6123 for more information or to register.  Lego donations to the library are gladly accepted!

       Artifact Finds with Dr. GreenRocks

           Friday, July 12

           2:00-3:00 PM

Dr. Green, from KSU Tuscarawas, is back for a fun program about artifacts. First he will talk about artifacts, arrowheads, rocks, and more.  Then children and parents will search for artifacts and different types of rocks in large pile of gravel specially delivered to our back parking lot!  Dr. Green will help you identify anything you find!  Open to ages 4-12.  Register: June 24-July 10

 Children and parents can come to the library and explore all kinds of

For boys and girls entering grades 3-5 in August. The evening starts at 6:15 with the
Dr. Weirdo Mad Scientist Family program.  Then, at 7:15, the parents and siblings leave
and the fun begins!  We’ll be having pizza, playing hide and seek in the library, and much, much more! Children will need to be picked up at 11:00 PM. Please call the library for more information.  Register: June 1-15, limited to 25 children

Treats and Treasures (formally Primary Club)

The Treats and Treasures club will start Fall 2013!  Each session will feature an edible craft as well as a take-home project!

Tween Club

Kids Jumping

This club is for children ages 8-12 and meets on Thursdays from 4:00-5:00.  Children may register for 1 or all of the sessions.  Each of the sessions will be centered around a different idea and will include contests like trivia and word searches as well as scavenger hunts and mysteries to solve.  Refreshments will be served.  Scheduled dates are:
